Well, it’s one of those things. I was just lucky. This happened the whole night. No, no, it didn’t happen overnight. It’s called blood, sweat and tears. I just put in the time. I actually wake up at 5:30 and work on the weekends but I’m not really working, I’ll do it as a hobby. I like doing this. So there’s momentum and then you keep finding ways to expand the scope of the spaces, you know? You have this thing that you do and then you find ways like other platforms where I’m doing podcasts right now. We’re going to do Pinterest. But I’m not going to do all of these at once, I’m just focusing on one. My focus is on YouTube and I will just learn from there and keep expanding it to different platforms.

controversies

Forcing an employee to convert to Scientology

In 2017, Brenda Valentine, an employee of Eric Berg, filed a complaint against him, claiming that Eric fired her after she refused to convert to Scientology. She also claimed that Eric Berg forced her to take Scientology courses in Washington, DC. She also said that despite her disapproval, Eric would often read her sentences and phrases from several Scientology books.

Feud between Ian and Eric

In May 2021, Eric Berg’s son Ian Rafalco posted a video on TikTok and Twitter in which he claimed that his family had forced him to follow Scientology. He also said that when he publicly renounced Scientology, his father came to his house and aggressively knocked on his door. However, Eric had to leave when neighbors threatened to call the police. Ian also uploaded a controversial video to Twitter and talked about following Dr. Eric’s Scientology. In the video he claimed that his father was selfish and had no empathy for humans. According to Ian, a portion of the profits Eric makes from selling his products goes to Scientology. Talking about this he said,

So when I make this video and it becomes public my life will be over. That’s uh… my life is over for a while, so. I thought I could at least go out with a big bang. Some of you may know this guy, Eric. He has a few thousand videos on YouTube. He is quite popular at this time. He gives a lot of health related advice. He’s a chiropractor, as you can see, so… not only is this guy a Scientologist but he also donates copious amounts of money to charity. Their profit margins are so high, they are so high. So has he donated maybe about $7 million to Scientology? And whatever product you buy, you also donate it to Scientology, because they have a separate savings account for that. He is an incredibly selfish and empathy-less human being. And the reason I know is because he is my father.”
