Aronov once shared a video, in which he was seen throwing away a patient’s body parts while the patient was awake, which went viral on TikTok. He was criticized and exposed by patients who were shocked to see themselves in his videos on public forums and insisted that they had not given him permission to post the videos.

Dr Daniel Aronov is the defendant in a class action filed by Maddens Lawyers in the Victorian Supreme Court of Australia, led by Catherine Emeni. The class action is on behalf of all those who suffered loss or damage as a result of cosmetic surgery performed at Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery Services Pty Ltd (DCSS) or by one or more of the defendants. This class action alleges that the cosmetic surgery was not performed with sufficient skill and care. It also alleges that the defendants engaged in misleading and deceptive conduct. More than 540 patients have joined this class action against the defendants.
