Dove Cameron explains the juicy meaning behind her new single, “Lethal Woman”!
The dark pop song is the 27-year-old’s first single from the first volume of her two-part debut album, Alchemical: Volume 1.
“Lethal Woman” dropped at midnight on Friday (October 20) and the album is scheduled for release on December 1.
Dove revealed that she was inspired to write the song after being captivated by a woman one night.

“I wrote this song after meeting a woman one night who immediately cast a spell on me,” the former Disney star said in a statement about the song.
He continued, “I wanted to encapsulate that ‘time stops’ moment like lightning in a bottle, where you know you have no choice but to let yourself be carried away by someone’s energy. I’m opening the album release with this song as a sexy ode to powerful women around the world. Wild cosmic women: you made me who I am.”
The singer went on to present her next album. “Alchemical: Volume 1 “It is a report from the void of my own personal experience with love, sex, loss, trauma, darkness, and ultimately, transformation and healing,” she shared. “I hope you listen to yourself and we can meet together right now.”
Dove recently opened up about her personal life, got candid about her father’s suicide, and came out as queer.
