Zion Clark is the current fastest two-handed man. The speedy American completed 20 meters in 4.78 seconds breaking the previous record. It’s perhaps not a surprise that he broke the record given his muscular torso and arms. What may surprise you is that he has lived his whole life without legs and with a significant part of his spine.
Clark has overcome incredible obstacles to become a Guinness World Record holder and is an inspiration to all who seek to succeed in the face of adversity. Zion’s task would have been much more difficult without a support system that included his adoptive mother and girlfriend.

Zion’s girlfriend goes by Teitei on Instagram.
Zion is not married but is in a serious relationship with his girlfriend, the bold Teitei. Teitei writes on Instagram that she is a fashion model and content creator from New York.
It appears that the couple began dating on January 4, 2021, as the date appears next to Zion’s Instagram name in Teitei’s Instagram caption. Since then, she has posted many photos of Zion and has announced that Zion met her family.
She supported Clark as he searched for the Guinness World Record for Fastest Person in Hands. “Everyone was excited, I was excited, my girlfriend was excited…it was just a moment, man!” Zion said.
Zion and Tei recently celebrated their 24th birthday. “Had an amazing time celebrating my baby’s 24th G day,” Clark wrote alongside a series of photos of the couple.

Clark required two back surgeries just to allow him to sit up straight. His parents gave him up for adoption shortly after he was born. He went through the foster and adoption system for sixteen years, finding families with good intentions but little knowledge of how to care for him.
A family forced him to wear prosthetics that required him to sit in an uncomfortable brace. The purpose of the prosthetics was to straighten his back, and once they achieved his goal, Clark was able to stop wearing them, but his parents insisted they keep them.
“It got to the point where it was a punishment. It was like I was my own person. If something broke in the prostheses, the nurse called and I was grounded at home. An exaggerated punishment for something that can happen to anyone. If I were a father and had a son like me, once his body was repaired, I would let them make the decision. They don’t need to look like everyone else.”
Clark’s mother, Kimberli Hawkins, adopted him seven months before his 18th birthday. She had adopted him twice before, and it didn’t work out. Fortunately, she’s a perfect fit for Hawkins. “With my mom raising the kids the way she did, if she didn’t do that, she wouldn’t be here,” Zion said. “There is no success, there is no wrestling, there is no track.”
Zion never knew his birth father, but he did meet his birth mother. He said Chris VanVliet that his mother, Melanie, tracked him down and the meeting did not go well.

Zion experienced bullying as a child due to his height. The bullying hurt, but instead of feeling down, he channeled that anger into wrestling.
He started wrestling in the second grade, but he wasn’t very good at it. He didn’t know how to fight other kids, and the other kids didn’t know how to fight him.
