DJ Khaled criticized for forcing security guards to carry him to save his Air Jordans

Super producer DJ Khaled is one of the biggest celebrities in the industry. But he has also earned a reputation thanks to his social media antics. Khaled’s most recent post has him in trouble.

The Miami native posted a video on Instagram on February 26, being carried away by two security guards. The reason? He didn’t want to ruin his Air Jordan sneakers.

“I don’t want to get my Jordans dirty. Can I get everyone to help me? She said in the video.

It may have been a joke, but fans on social media were not at all amused.

“Did that 50-year-old man just ask to be carried because he didn’t want to get his shoes dirty?” an added user.

“All that money and he cared about some sneakers? Can’t he buy another pair? said another.

Jay-Z offers Khaled advice on fatherhood

Khaled is one of the top producers in hip-hop history. And he has cultivated relationships with some of the biggest artists in the music industry. Some of those relationships are business but others are a little more personal. Before his first child, Ahsad, was born, Jay-Z offered her some advice.

“It’s all for them. Every single thing: the house we live in, the cars we drive, the watches, the music… Jay-Z told me, ‘Wait until you have a kid; That’s when life really begins.’ And as soon as my children were born, my life changed,” he told Variety.

“Not only these blessings, but also my mentality. Money does not define success. Money does not define being a tycoon. For me, true success is being happy.”

The producer does not talk about the first struggles

Khaled has become one of the biggest hits in the music industry. He is a Grammy winner and has achieved several number one albums throughout his career. But to get to the point of winning at this point, he had to suffer some losses early in his career.

“On some of my early music deals I didn’t get anything, but I was very grateful for the opportunity,” he added.

“You know how people complain that they were mistreated and were getting screwed? I told him the opposite: ‘Thank you. I learned from this opportunity. “Someone believed in me. I could have gotten a better offer, but I’ll get it next time. He was already telling myself, ‘I’m building for my family.'”
