Divya Bhatnagar was an Indian television actress, best known for playing the role of ‘Gulabo’ in the popular Indian television serial ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ (2009).

In 2015, she got engaged to her long-time boyfriend Gagan without her parents’ consent. Gagan is an Indian celebrity manager and line producer. Reportedly, Divya’s parents were not happy with their relationship as it was an inter-caste relationship. On 22 December 2019, Divya and Gagan got married secretly in a private ceremony at a Gurudwara.

On Monday, 7 December 2020, Divya Bhatnagar died in a hospital in Mumbai. He was diagnosed with COVID-19 and pneumonia.

I just want to tell everyone one thing that all this is nonsense and please do not believe them. The truth is that I was out of Mumbai for work. I work in production and everyone knows that our profession requires us to travel a lot, but my family and I were always in touch with Divya. When Divya fell ill and her corona test came positive, I was out due to work. His friend admitted him to the hospital and contacted his family. She tried to contact me but since I was not in any network area she could not contact me. She was in regular touch with my mother.
