Dip addresses the divorce of his close friends Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner.
On Wednesday night (September 20), the 44-year-old DJ appeared on See what happens live when a fan called and asked, “What was your reaction to the news of Joe Jonas’ divorce?”

“I wish you all the love,” Diplo said in response.
In case you forgot, Diplo livestreamed Joe, 34, and Sophie, 27,’s surprise wedding in Las Vegas in 2019, after the Jonas Brothers performed at the Billboard Music Awards.
Joe and Sophie originally planned to keep the Las Vegas nuptials private, but that obviously didn’t happen as Diplo livestreamed the entire event.
“[Livestreaming] it had just started happening,” Diplo recalled to WWHL host Andy Cohen. “I thought, ‘This is a perfect opportunity to livestream something. “I didn’t know it was a secret, so it was on the news.”
He continued: “Then they had a real wedding. [the couple had a lavish ceremony in the South of France after exchanging vows in Vegas]. I actually attended, I was a DJ at his wedding…I did it pretty cheap, maybe for free.”
When asked if he had been in contact with Joe or Sophie since their split was revealed, Diplo responded: “Not really.”
