Johnny Depp has reportedly received a million-dollar settlement for his legal battle with Amber Heard, but he won’t keep it for long.

If you forgot, the couple settled out of court in late 2022 following a very public defamation lawsuit. Amber agreed to pay her ex $1 million.

Now that Johnny has received the funds, a new report sheds light on what he plans to do with them. It turns out that he will be donating it to various charities and two of the donations will supposedly honor some of his Hollywood heroes.

According to TMZ, Johnny will donate $200,000 to five different charities: Make-A-Film Foundation, The Painted Turtle, Red Feather, Tetiaroa Society and Amazonia Fund Alliance.

Of the five, The Painted Turtle and Tetiaroa Society have special connections to Paul Newman and Marlon Brando. Johnny is reportedly marking donations to organizations so he can “carry on his legacy.”
