Ghost Writer is the title earned from completing the Seal for Destiny 2’s Festival of the Lost in 2022. Guardians can also earn the Gilded Title.
Ghost Writer is the featured title that can be earned in Destiny 2‘s Festival of the Lost for 2022. This year’s annual event takes place over a three-week period and is available to all players. Guardians can earn the Ghost Writer title by completing Event Challenges. These are similar to seasonal Triumphs and are only available during the Festival of the Lost.
Upon logging in during the event period, Guardians will see the friendly face of Eva Levante in The Tower. She has returned to provide players with access to all the seasonal rewards and Bounties. Destiny 2‘s Event Card system, introduced during the Solstice event, has also been reprised. This feature keeps track of the progress toward completing each Event Challenge. After the Festival of the Lost ends, the associated Event Card will also be removed. Guardians have three weeks to collect any of the desired seasonal rewards.
There are 16 Event Challenges to unlock the Ghost Writer title. Some of these can be easily completed by participating in the festivities. For example, the Happy Haunting Ground challenge requires the completion of 35 rounds in the Haunted Sector playlist. Many of the others can be finished by using a specific weapon archetype or wearing a Festival Mask during various activities in Destiny 2.

Guardians who complete the Ghost Writer Seal can also earn the gilded title before the end of the event. This requires that four separate challenges be finished.

All while completing these various Event Challenges, Guardians will be earning exclusive loot, such as weapons, a Shader, and an Exotic Ship. While none of these Triumphs are necessarily tricky, players do have a time limit. Those that wish to earn the Ghost Writer title in Destiny 2 will need to do so before November 8, 2022.
