The episode’s title even suggests that Jason Todd may appear in the series at some point. Other characters confirmed for the series include Robin and Starfire, and the Doom Patrol. Ras al Ghul is also a possibility, as he’s been an enemy of the Titans throughout the comics: recent casting clearly confirms that.
DC’s digital streaming service to launch its first season in 2018 giant, a total of 13 episodes. There’s no definite release date yet, but with production on the series well underway, expect DC to make an announcement soon.
The only question left now is: Would DC Comics fans want to subscribe to another streaming service to watch DC’s original shows based on their favorite comics? With so many other companies jumping on the streaming service bandwagon, including Disney, which will provide exclusive Marvel content, will viewers ultimately decide that’s enough and just stick with the basics like Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu? Or will they think this original content is enough to pay the extra monthly fee for such services? Only time will tell.
