Daya Shankar Singh is an Indian politician and member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He is a member of the 18th Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh and the state vice president of the BJP party.

In 2007, Daya Shankar Singh contested the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly election from Ballia constituency on a Bharatiya Janata Party ticket, but he lost. He contested the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly election again from Ballia Nagar constituency in March 2022 on Bharatiya Janata Party ticket. He defeated Narada Rai of Samajwadi Party by a margin of 26,239 votes and became the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly member. He was appointed as the Transport Minister and assumed office on 25 March 2022.
