Davide Frattesi (born 22 September 1999) is an Italian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Empoli on loan from Sassuolo in Serie B. Frattesi made his professional debut on 20 December 2017 in a 2-1 away loss against Serie A club Atalanta in the Coppa Italia round of 16; he was substituted by Matteo Politano in the 74th minute. During that season, he also appeared on the bench for Sassuolo’s senior squad, although he did not play. Frattesi joined Serie B side Ascoli on loan on August 16, 2018, and will remain there until June 30, 2019.
