Diggs joined the American experimental hip-hop group ‘clipping’ in 2010, founded the previous year by Jonathan Snipes and William Hutson. He began writing his raps over his compositions and on February 5, 2013, the group released ‘Midcity’, his debut mixtape which was well received.
After five months, they signed with ‘Sub Pop’ and released their 1st studio album ‘CLPPNG’ through the record label on June 10, 2014. This singer has remained the vocalist and songwriter of the group that throughout the years years has expanded his discography that includes the EPs ‘dba118’ and ‘Wriggle (EP)’; album ‘Splendor and Misery’; remix albums ‘DREAM REMX’ and ‘REMXNG’; as well as several singles and remixes.

In 2015, Diggs originated the dual roles of Marquis de Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson in the musical Hamilton. For that, he won a Tony Award in 2016 for Best Actor in a Featured Role in a Musical.
