Collin Sexton was born in Marietta, Georgia, on January 4, 1999. Sexton attended Pebblebrook Senior High School for his education (Mableton, Georgia). He started playing basketball at the age of three. He’s 25 years old.

The Cleveland Cavaliers selected Sexton with the eighth overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft on June 21, 2018. He was Alabama’s highest-ranked player since Antonio McDyess in 1995. On July 6, 2018, he made his first debut in the NBA Summer League, scoring 15 points and grabbing seven rebounds. Sexton and the 2016 USA U17 Men’s World Championship team won gold at the 2016 FIBA U17 World Championship in Zaragoza, Spain. He was named the tournament’s most valuable player.
