Colleen Ballinger’s ex-husband speaks out in support of ex-fans who claim she turned them on

Colleen Ballinger has faced accusations of grooming from several former fans and now her ex-husband, Joshua David Evans, is weighing in.

For weeks, text messages and direct messages from Colleen’s past have resurfaced, with several people alleging that she engaged in inappropriate and exploitative relationships with fans, including minors.

Colleen, who is the face behind the Miranda Sings character, took to her YouTube account this week to deny the allegations in a 10-minute ukulele song.

“Anyone who is feeling hurt and exhausted right now, my message to you is this: your experiences were real. The proof is there. His trauma must be taken seriously. The proof is there. Your anger is justified. The proof is there. You deserve more. Take back your power. Sending you love,” Joshua tweeted.

He continued: “This behavior was my reality every time I spoke and I disagreed with his actions and rhetoric during 2009-2016. I was also gaslit. They made me feel like I was always the problem. Any pain he felt was an inconvenience and he looked down on. Every ounce of what you’re feeling, I understand.

Joshua concluded: “I have no desire to use this as a catalyst for a YouTube comeback. It’s not a safe place for me. I am beyond that. My voice is only here to help validate those who are suffering, nothing more. I don’t need to make money from this. That’s disgusting and it’s not in my heart, not at all.”
