You can totally count Colin Cowherd in Taylor Swift’s corner. The talk show host criticized haters and questioned how Swift ruined the NFL.
Cowherd brought up the issue on his show. the pack (through People). Cowherd believes the hate is more a reflection of the haters than of Swift. He maintained that seeing Swift for a couple of seconds during a football game shouldn’t ruin anyone’s evening, much less football.
The host also noted that Swift has played a role in the season’s narrative. She is dating Travis Kelce, who is a vital part of the Kansas City Chiefs.
“There are a lot of really weird, lonely, insecure men out there,” Cowherd, 60, said. “The fact that the biggest pop star in the world is dating a star tight end, who had one of the best games ever, and a network briefly puts them on the air, bothers you, what does that say about you? life?”
Cowherd questioned why football fans didn’t have more problems with other aspects of the sport, such as commercials. He argued that the NFL has never been solely about football, so why is Swift a distraction?
“A football broadcast is not just football,” he said. “In fact, the four-hour commercials before the Super Bowl will be widely viewed. Did you know that statistically, in a three-and-a-half hour NFL playoff or regular season broadcast, only 18 minutes of it is actual football? “About the length of five Taylor Swift songs.”

Cowherd then went on a rant about toxic masculinity. He raised some statistics about intimacy.
He said: “There is a statistic that is a little uncomfortable for you sad boys, that 50% of men never have real intimacy with a woman. That means the other 50% have multiple intimate relationships with women. And those who don’t are angry, sad and lonely, and often misogynistic and resentful of women who didn’t give them the time they think they deserve.”
“This anger says nothing about Taylor Swift. “She says everything about the men who are bothered by her,” she continued.
