Chris Brown Responds to Tinashe’s Comments About Their Collaboration and Regrets

Chris Brown is not happy with comments Tinashe made about working with him.

The two artists collaborated on the 2015 song “Player” and she recently said she doesn’t think he should have been on the song.

Tinashe spoke during an interview on The Zach Sang Show last week, during which he also called his collaboration with R. Kelly an “embarrassing” moment in his career.

“I literally block that R. Kelly song from my mind. I forgot it even exists. That’s so unreal that I even have a song with R. Kelly. That is very embarrassing,” he said.

While talking about Chris, he said, “That was a song that we all wanted to be this big moment, this big single. So I feel like, in their mind, they were saying, ‘You need support.’ He was the biggest artist they had on rhythm radio at the time. For me, I thought, ‘Well, this is a pop song.’ So, I really don’t feel like we should put Chris in this.” That doesn’t add up to me, but I don’t know.”

Chris commented on an Instagram post about dating.

“NAME 5 TINASHE songs or they die… ALL DEAD,” he said, implying that no one knows Tinashe’s music.

In another comment he said: “She is full of that evil. Shawty’s career is non-existent. What is more embarrassing is that she worked with all these people and none of us could save her career.”

Chris’ name made headlines during the VMAs when a big star had a strong reaction upon hearing his name.
