Chiefs Coach Andy Reid on Travis Kelce’s Viral Push in Super Bowl LVIII

Andy Reid of the Kansas City Chiefs stated that there are no hard feelings over the dispute he and Travis Kelce had on the field during Super Bowl LVIII.

As previously reported, Travis Kelce was seen yelling and shoving Andy Reid on the field after Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco lost a fumble. Kelce was eventually pulled away from Reid by running back Jerick McKinnon.

Following the Chiefs’ 25-22 victory over the San Francisco 49ers, Reid had a good laugh during a postgame interview with CBS about the incident. “He keeps me young,” Reid said of Kelce. The coach also said Kelce tested his hip. “He caught me off balance; he’d normally give it a little, but he didn’t have any foot under me.”

Andy Reid improved the incident when Travis Kelce turned positive. The coach continued to praise Kelce for his love for the game. “He wants to help his team win,” Reid continued. “It’s not selfish, it’s not that and I understand it.
