Charles Anthony Prabhakaran (1985–2009) was the son of LTTE chief Velupillai Prabhakaran and a prominent member of the Sri Lankan Tamil Tigers terrorist organisation, formally known as the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE). He died on 18 May 2009.

Anthony’s mother, Mathivathani Erambu, was reportedly killed by the Sri Lankan military; However, the army later denied killing him and said they had no information about his whereabouts. Anthony had a younger brother, Balachandran Prabhakaran, who was shot by the Sri Lankan Army in May 2009 and a younger sister, Duvaraga, who was reportedly found dead along with their mother on 20 May 2009.

Charles was the head of the LTTE’s Information and Technology Department and the head of the Air Tigers, the LTTE’s aerial division.

In early 2006, Anthony was in charge of the Air Tigers, the air wing of the LTTE. He was known for designing the Czech-made Zlin-143 aircraft, which was used by the LTTE to attack important sites of the Sri Lankan Army. He also shot down a plane and bombed Katunayake Air Force Base in March 2007.

According to some sources, Charles Anthony Prabhakaran died during the final stages of fighting with the Sri Lankan army on 18 May 2009.
