After winning that, I went to Nice and Milan, before coming back to India to work. My career path was not planned, but it came to fruition due to a solid mix of luck and hard work.”

In 2016, she was praised for walking the ramp with a large baby bump for Hyderabad-based fashion designer Gaurang Shah at the Lakme Fashion Week. Talking about this in an interview he said,
I have been doing his shows for many years, so as usual this time he called and asked if he could book me. I told him I was pregnant and yet he asked me if I would go for the show. So, I thought about it and realized that the clothes on display were for all types of women… I thought if the designer would like me in his show, why not? I really enjoyed the experience.”
