“Dear customers, the Bruno Mars concert scheduled for tonight is canceled,” Live Nation wrote on Instagram, which was translated from Hebrew to English.

“All ticket purchases for the show will receive an automatic refund to the credit card through which the purchase was made,” the statement continues.

Live Nation added: “We strengthen Israel’s residents, IDF (Israel Defense Forces) fighters and security forces in these difficult times.”

On Saturday morning, Hamas carried out an attack in the Gaza Strip, killing at least 40 people and wounding hundreds, CNN reports.

After the attack, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a televised speech: “We are at war. It is not an “operation”, not a “round”, but a war. “The enemy will pay an unprecedented price.”

The IDF subsequently launched attacks that left at least 198 Palestinians dead and 1,610 wounded.

At the moment, it is unclear whether Bruno and his bandmates have already left Israel.
