“He’s the same, and I think in that sense I’ve learned that’s the best thing you can ask for,” Tallulah, 29, told Drew. “I see love when I’m with him, and he’s my dad and he loves me, which is really special.”
As for why she and her family have been so open about the illness, Tallulah said, “Well, I think it’s twofold. On the one hand, it’s about who we are as a family, but it’s also very important for us to raise awareness.”
“If we can take something that we’re struggling with as a family to help other people, turn it around and do something beautiful about it, that’s really special to us,” Tallulah continued. “And part of what’s been a really beautiful way of getting through this is becoming an archaeologist of my father’s world, of his little knick-knacks and his dads.”
In another recent interview, Bruce’s wife Emma revealed whether he is fully aware of his diagnosis.
