Brittany Mahomes’ father-in-law says his son isn’t at ‘Tom Brady level’ yet

Meanwhile, Brittany Mahomes’ father-in-law Pat Sr. recently spoke about his son’s stardom and how he’s not at the “Tom Brady level” yet.

“That is still to be determined,” Pat said when asked if her son is the GOAT, according to Daily Mail. “He still has a long way to go. I have great respect for Tom Brady and grew up a Joe Montana fan. [Patrick] “He’s on the right trajectory, but right now I would say those guys are better.”

However, despite his comments, Mahomes Sr. told CNN that his son is very hard-working and dedicated to football. “He’s in the gym all the time,” he said, noting that he works out three times a week. “Unfortunately he got that from me. That’s in his DNA. We don’t have the muscles like DK Metcalf and some of the guys who are built like rocks and statues. We just have this natural dad body, but hey, we’re representing.”

Pat Sr. also said his son’s athletic abilities at a young age made him “special” in his eyes. “I knew the things he did at such a young age were different. He knew that was special and he knew that if he continued to move that way and work every day he would have the opportunity to be a professional athlete.”

Pat Sr. then added that he will watch his son in Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday and see him win his third Super Bowl ring. “Competing at the highest level is something rare and very special. For him to have the success that he has had so early in his career is just surreal.”
