Britney Spears’ mother talks reunion amid reports another family member was invited to pop star’s birthday

Britney Spears’ mother Lynne is speaking out after reuniting with her daughter earlier this month.

The Princess of Pop, 42, celebrated her birthday with her mother and older brother Bryan. The celebration comes after years of discord within the Spears family.

On Thursday (December 7), Lynne returned to Los Angeles again, apparently to spend more time with Britney. A photographer met her at LAX and asked her some questions about future plans for her daughter’s return to Louisiana and her thoughts on her separation from Sam Asghari.

Her return to Los Angeles comes after a report that another member of Britney’s family was also invited to the birthday party.

TMZ noted that Lynne seemed to be in good spirits. While she chose not to answer questions about Britney’s father, Jamie (who is rumored to have recently had a leg amputated), she did offer a bit of information.

“Anything is always possible,” he said when asked about Britney’s return to Louisiana.

On the topic of Sam, Lynne was asked if she misses her daughter’s ex-husband, who filed for divorce in August. His response to her? “Not precisely.”

It seems like good news that Lynne is back in Los Angeles. After we received photos from her birthday gathering, a source told TMZ that the pop star was open to moving forward with her family.

“Britney wants to fix things with her family. “She thinks it’s time to start healing,” a source told the outlet.

It was reported that her sister Jamie Lynn was also invited to the meeting but was unable to attend.
