A source told Page six their concern that he might be turning to substance abuse. “I hate to say it, but the way this is going, this is what we feared,” they told the outlet.

Britney Spears’ 13-year conservatorship ended in 2021
Britney Spears’ 13-year conservatorship, which controlled her finances and health, ended in November 2021. This came amid public outrage, especially towards her father. Recently, Britney settled her legal case against Jamie, alleging that he mismanaged her funds, by agreeing to pay her $2 million legal fees.
However, a source deeply familiar with the court case expressed disagreement with the court’s proceedings.
“The narrative that Britney was locked up for no good reason other than her father was evil and wanted to work her down to the last penny has always been incorrect,” the source said. Page six.
“I never believed Jamie was the villain in this situation,” a source close to Britney’s father told the outlet. “He has been unfairly vilified by people who know nothing about the situation and have nothing to do with it. I hate to say it, but he could be vindicated.”
The source also noted that in ending the conservatorship, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny did not require Britney to undergo an evaluation.
An ex-boyfriend of the pop singer, who dated her during her conservatorship, also spoke to the outlet. “I think she needs to get off all medications, avoid drugs and alcohol, and read the Bible,” they said.
“She also always said she wanted to return home to Louisiana. I hope she does it. I’m not sure why she’s still in Los Angeles. “It’s a cesspool,” added the ex-boyfriend.
