Britney Spears and her mother Lynne had what appears to be their first in-person meeting in years.
The 41-year-old “My Baby” pop star hosted her 68-year-old mother at her Los Angeles home for a brief reunion on Wednesday (May 24).
The visit comes just days after it was reported that Britney is reportedly in the process of mending damaged relationships with several members of her family.

According to TMZ, Lynne touched down in Los Angeles and made a pit stop at the home of Britney’s manager, Cade Hudson. From there she traveled to her daughter’s house.
They were reportedly together for about half an hour and were joined by Britney’s husband, Sam Asghari.
Sources told the outlet that Lynne is “committed to making things right with her daughter.” The couple have reportedly been in touch via text messages, though this appears to be the first time they’ve met in person in years.
Britney has also been separated from her father Jamie Spears, who took care of her, her sister Jamie Lynn Spears, her brother Bryan Spears, and her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James Federline.
Sources recently revealed where he stood with each of them. Britney herself commented where she is with her children in a since-deleted post on social media.
