Mae Muller knows how to make fun of herself.
The 25-year-old singer-songwriter just represented the United Kingdom during Eurovision 2023 over the weekend with her song “I Wrote a Song.”
Unfortunately, it wasn’t a big hit with the juries or the audience, and Mae ended up coming in second-to-last place with 24 points, finishing 25th out of 26 countries in the grand final.

On Monday (May 15), Mae reacted to the disappointing performance with a fun TikTok.
“I don’t know about you, but I had a great time x #eurovision2023 #maemuller,” he wrote with the video, which is captioned: “when someone asks me how well I did at Eurovision.” In the video, she awkwardly lip-syncs a famous sound and declares “well…well…next question…see you around!”.
This year’s Eurovision winner joined an elite group of competitors with more than one victory to their name.
