Brandy Norwood is believed to have been hospitalized after a seizure. According to TMZ, officers received a 911 call to Norwood’s home around noon on October 11. TMZ also said her parents were with her at the hospital. The cause of the seizures and confirmed additional medical conditions are unknown. It should be recalled that she was admitted to the hospital in 2017 after passing out on a flight at Los Angeles International Airport.

At the time, Norwood staff said she had traveled extensively on her tour, making more than a dozen flights. They also note that Norwood worked all night in her studio before heading to the airport to catch a 5:45 a.m. flight. In an interview with the New York Post, she said:

“I’m not classified as bipolar, but I’ve had times when trauma made me inferior to myself and there were times when I thought I could go through that.”

In a separate interview with The Grio, she revealed that she has struggled with major depression, trauma, and PTSD. She went on to say that she went through a lot and had to get through it all through counseling, prayer, writing, and meditation.
