Bradley Cooper recounts his emergency room visit with Carey Mulligan

Bradley Cooper shares the terrifying experience he had with Carey Mulligan.

If you didn’t know, Bradley, 49, and Carey, 38, starred opposite each other in Teacherwhich is nominated for seven Oscars.

Bradley recently described a time when he had to take Carey to the emergency room in 2018.

He Bright Side Playbook The star was attending Carey’s performance of Girls Boys when he suffered an injury on stage.

“I went to find her backstage and she was face down… because one of the sets had hit her on the top of the head in the middle of the play,” Bradley recalled during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show.

“I came back and said, ‘Are you okay?’” he continued. “And she wasn’t doing well at all, so we went to the emergency room.”

Carey later explained that no one realized what had happened since the accident occurred while the stage lights were off.

“I just couldn’t stop crying and I thought I was really lost,” she said. “You know, you get into your head with a head injury, like, ‘Well, that’s it.’ And then she was sobbing on the floor and…someone came in and said, ‘I’m sorry, I’m so sorry’ -Bradley Cooper [is here].’”

Luckily, Carey was okay in the end!
