Bilal Ashraf was born on Wednesday, 10 October 1979 (age 43 years; as of 2022) in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. His zodiac sign is Libra. He did his schooling at St. Michael’s Convent School in Karachi. He then did a double major in finance and art and a minor in psychology. Later, he studied visual effects at Franklin & Marshall College in Pennsylvania, United States. He then did an animation course at Escape Studios in London, UK.

In 2014, he made a cameo appearance in the Urdu film ‘O21’ as Ahmad.
He made his acting debut with the Urdu film ‘Janaan’ as Asfandyar in 2016.
Some of his other Urdu films are ‘Yalghaar’ (2017), ‘Rangreza’ (2017), and ‘Superstar’ (2019).
TV
He made his television debut with the Urdu telefilm ‘Aik Hai Nigar’ in 2021 as Johar Ali Khan. The telefilm was aired on ARY Digital.
In 2023, he appeared in the Hum TV drama ‘Yunhi’ in which he played the role of Dr. Davud Basharat.

He appeared as a guest in various Urdu TV shows like ‘Mazaaq Raat’ (2017; Dunya News), ‘Tonite with HSY’ (2017; Hum TV), and ‘Jeeto Pakistan League Season 1’ (2020; ARY Digital).
