Benafsha was born on 2 October 1995 (23 years; age as in 2018), into a Zoroastrian family of Goa. Her family, friends, and fans call her by the name “Benn”. Benafsha always took a keen interest in acting, modelling, dancing & hosting. She worked with MTV India as a VJ. Later, she participated in one of India’s biggest youth-based reality show- Roadies X4 (2016). She has also been seen hosting campus diaries, alongside her beau- Varun Sood (ex-Roadies contestant).

Benafsha completed her graduation from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Goa. She started off her career with modelling. Later, being a VJ with MTV India, proved out to be the biggest career opportunity of her life. She also gained publicity when she participated in Roadies X4 (2016).
She was also seen hosting the Channel V’s Campus Diaries, alongside her ex-boyfriend, Varun Sood.
