He Tony Awards 2023 It took place last night and there were so many backstage moments that you didn’t get to see on TV.
Luckily, photographer Jenny Anderson was backstage to capture everything that happened when the TV cameras weren’t rolling.
The show took place Sunday night (June 11) at a new venue: the United Palace Theater in the Washington Heights neighborhood of New York City.
Broadway’s top performers were honored at the annual event. Lea Michele, Josh Groban, Sara Bareilles, Alex Newell and many more celebrities performed at the show and photographed us backstage as we prepared to appear on stage.
