Bava Chelladurai was born on Sunday, 22 April 1962 (age 59 years; as in 2021) in Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu. His zodiac sign is Taurus. Bava attended the Danish Mission Higher Secondary School in his hometown Tiruvannamalai.

Story
Bava is a well-known name in Tamil storytelling clubs. He writes short stories that are unique and have “story mantras”. Most of Chelladuari’s works have already been translated into English, Hindi and Malayalam languages, and are now also being translated into French, Spanish and German. Bava started narrating the story with his friend JP. He revealed in an interview that the duo decided to perform every Friday evening at their friend JP’s Quartis multilingual conversation center in Tiruvannamalai. Bava further said,
We started this storytelling program from next Friday. There was no big plan for this, no poster, no banner, we just put a post on Facebook that storytelling was going to happen at this place. About 60 people came for this.”

The writer utilized his acting skills and debuted in the Tamil film industry in 2016 with the film titled “Joker”, which saw him in a comic role.
After his debut, Bava acted in several Kollywood films. In 2019, he appeared as a character named Siddha Kudimagan in the Tamil language film, Peranbu. The next year, the actor did two films – Psycho, as Akbar and Walter, as Ishwarmurthy. Bava played the role of Annam’s husband in the film Sennai in 2021 and in the same year, he was appreciated for his acting skills in the widely acclaimed Tamil drama, Jai Bheem, in which he was seen as a politician named Nataraja.

Chelladurai is a popular Tamil writer who started writing in 2011. His first book, “Ruins of the Night”, was co-written by Janaki Venkatraman. In 2013, he wrote his second book, “Kaalam”, in collaboration with V Nedu Chezhiyan. Bava published two books as an author in 2016 – Bashirin Arai Aththanai Elithil Thirakkapadavilai and Dominic. In 2018, he had two more books titled “Ella Nalum Karthigai,” and “From 19 DM Saron.”

- The storyteller turned to the video platform, YouTube, in 2010 to continue telling his story, and his eponymous channel has more than 35 thousand subscribers as of 2021. Chelladurai revealed in an interview that he had no such intention; However, his son, Vamsi, recorded his third and fourth storytelling incident and uploaded the videos on YouTube. This eventually led to Chelladurai’s YouTube channel. Bava further said,
Actually, I have this YouTube channel and I don’t know how to start it. He [Bava’s son] I had just bought a camera and was learning all about photography.”
