Part 1 of Awake Surgery will cover a wide variety of patients, from those in need of a facelift to those undergoing life-changing procedures. Everything about Dr. Gruber
Dr. Gruber is a board-certified plastic surgeon licensed in Florida, Oregon, and Missouri. She graduated with a degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of California. She later earned her MD and Ph.D. in medical immunology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, as well as a postdoctoral fellowship in immunology at Stanford University. Then, in 2005, she enrolled and completed a residency in plastic surgery at the University of Washington.
Since then, she has worked as a plastic surgeon and medical director for numerous clinics, including Silverton Health, Providence Health & Services, Athenix Body Sculpting Institute and ARTLIPO, before opening the clinic surgery in Sarasota, Florida in August 2021. Awake surgery has 22 years of experience in plastic surgery. Among her procedures are facelift, eyelid lift, liposuction, BBL, and arm lift. Dr. Meegan also performs reconstructive procedures without anesthesia.
She is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. She has also received honors for her services in areas such as Doctor Verified by Realself, Top Docs Real self, Top Ten Doctor Plastic Surgeon Expert, and Patient Choice Awards.
