Monica Aldama’s son, Austin Aldama, has been arrested on child pornography charges.
You may recognize the 51-year-old as the coach of Navarro College’s co-ed cheerleading team, which was the subject of a Netflix TV docuseries titled Happiness.
Aldama’s 27-year-old son was arrested on 10 counts of possession of pornographic images of children, TMZ reports. He was booked but has been released on bail under stipulations including random drug testing, random searches of his electronic devices and prohibited viewing of any X-rated material.
Prosecutors say they have evidence of materials showing children under 10 years old in video files.
This is not the first case of child pornography to affect the Navarro area. Jerry Harris, who starred HappinessHe was sentenced to 12 years in prison for child pornography.
