Ashwin Kaushal is an Indian actor known for his roles in Hindi films including PK (2014), Ghulam-e-Mustafa (1997), and Sardari (1997).

Ashwin Kaushal Bharti was born on 22 February in Mumbai. Ashwin did his schooling from Jamnabai Narsee School (Mumbai) and studied at Mithibhai College, Mumbai. When Ashwin was studying in school, he failed 5-6 times, due to which his father withdrew his name from the school. Later, he was tutored at home by a private tutor and took the 10th class examination; However, he failed the exam. According to Ashwin, when he failed in his high school exams, his father asked him to earn, after which he did some small jobs like selling clothes and ghee.

He died of heart failure on 16 January 1995 at the age of 87. Ashwin Kaushal’s mother’s name is Beena Kaushal. Ashwin has a sister named Tanushree Kaushal, who is an actress.
