Asha Negi was born on 23 August 1989 (34 years; as of 2023) in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. Indian television actress rose to fame with the role of Purvi Deshmukh in Zee TV’s Pavitra Rishta. She is also famous for the role of Kalpana in Ek Mutthi Aasmaan and Koyal in Kuch To Hai Tere Mere Darmiyan. Apart from being a well-established TV star, Negi has also won the Indian dance reality show, Nach Baliye 6 with her boyfriend Ritvik Dhanjani.

Asha Negi completed her schooling from St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Dehradun. He graduated in Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) from DAV College, Dehradun. Initially, Negi worked for a tour and travels consultancy agency and a call center in Bengaluru.

She won the title of Miss Uttarakhand in 2009.
