Ari Arjun was born on Tuesday, 12 February 1985 (age 35 years; as in 2020) in Palani, Tamil Nadu. Their zodiac sign is Aquarius. He did his schooling from Arulmigu Palaniyandavar Matriculation School, Palani and St. Joseph’s School, Tamil Nadu. He did his graduation from MK College, Tamil Nadu.

His father is a businessman, and his mother is a housewife. On 18 November 2015, he married Nathiya Sivakumaran, a Sri Lankan Tamil girl who is a UK HR professional. Their wedding took place at Kalikambal Temple in Paris, Chennai and their engagement reception was held at Taj Connemara, Tamil Nadu on 17 November 2015. On 5 February 2017, a daughter was born to the couple.

He started his career as a theater artist and has over seven years of experience in theatre. She has worked in various theater plays with theater groups like ‘Magic Lantern’, ‘Theatre Nisha’ and ‘Inland Theatres’. He has also worked as an acting teacher in theaters and has conducted various acting workshops for many budding actors. He debuted as an actor with the Tamil film ‘Aadum Koothu’ (2005), which was screened at various film festivals and received the ‘National Award for Best Regional Language’. He then appeared in various Tamil films, such as ‘Rettaisuli’ (2010), ‘Malai Pozhudhin Mayakathile’ (2012), ‘Nedunchalai’ (2014), ‘Unnodu Ka’ (2016), ‘Nagesh Thiraiyarangam’ (2018), and ‘Aleka’ (2020).
In 2020, he appeared in the popular TV reality show ‘Bigg Boss Tamil 4’ hosted by famous Indian actor Kamal Haasan.

People mistake my name for actors Adi and Arya and I get many calls thinking their names. So I thought I would add Arjun to my first name after this.”
- Before starting his career as an actor, he worked as a fitness trainer; Specializing in body sculpting. He has trained many Indian actors including Jeeva, Aadhi, Sasikumar, Parthiban and Aamir. In an interview he said,
Body sculpting is very popular overseas and actors have special trainers to look the age of the character they are playing in a film. There are many ways to do this, but I prefer a bio-method that has no side effects.”
