Wentworth, along with comedians Jerry Seinfeld and Amy Schumer, posed for photos at the event before posting them on Instagram with a caption that caused people to raise their eyebrows in concern.
The caption reads: “In dark times, laughter can be medicinal. @goodplusfdn raised money last night to support low-income families and dismantle multigenerational poverty. Friends and family gathered. And the best of the best comedians gave us a much-needed escape.”
In the images, Wentworth can also be seen posing with Kevin Hart and Jim Gaffigan.
Wentworth and Stephanopoulos have apparently had a difficult time coping with their daughter, Harper, 18, being away from college.
In August, the couple dropped Harper off at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, for her freshman year of college. After their departure, the couple officially became empty nesters.
Additionally, Stephanopoulos’ mother passed away at the age of 90 earlier this month.
Last week, Wentworth also posted a photo with her arms around emotional support dog, Cooper, on Instagram.

Wentworth and Stephanopoulos have expressed that they really miss their daughter since she went to college. In the photo, it’s pretty obvious that the mother of two has been using Cooper’s hugs as a way to cope with the emptiness she feels without her daughter being around.
