He had leadership qualities since childhood. Apart from leadership, she has inherent values of discipline, interpersonal and managerial skills, which helped her to become a reputed, self-made, aspiring woman entrepreneur. Pinky Reddy was inclined towards art when she joined the Hyderabad Crafts Council as a member. Since then she has been encouraging Indian artisans by providing them a platform to showcase and sell their work.
He used his skills and knowledge to help set up the Jaya HE Museum inside the luxurious new Terminal 2 of Mumbai Airport. He assisted American architects and Indian artisans to reinterpret Indian arts and handicrafts to add to the airport setting. While working with the creative team, he realized the need for essential financial support for economically disadvantaged artisans. She then founded ‘Ada’, a retail company, under which she launched three brands: The Lotus House, The Poparazzi (Indian Kitch-Pop Art) and Local, a food outlet.
Her company is promoting Indian crafts and artefacts and encouraging women to make gift items from home. Mrs. Pinky Reddy donates the funds raised from ‘Ada’ to the Aparna Foundation which supports the educational and health needs of over 300 under-resourced students. She is the chairperson of the annual Hyderabad 10K Run which trains children for international sports competitions.
As the National President of FICCI Ladies Organization (FICCI FLO) in 2018, she invested in economic empowerment and equal opportunities for women. She has been an active member of FICCI FLO, where she encourages and inspires women entrepreneurs at the national level. With her amazing skills and talent, she has proved to be successful in her professional and personal life as well. She is an avid lover of art and has been supporting budding artisans for many years.
