Ansi Kabir is an Indian model and the winner of the beauty pageant Miss South India 2021. On 1 November 2021, he died in a road accident in Kerala along with Miss Kerala 2019 runner-up Anjana Shajan.

Ansi Kabir was born on Friday, 11 October 1996 (age 25 at the time of death) in Alamcode, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. His zodiac sign is Scorpio. After completing his schooling in Kerala, he studied B.Tech ECE from The Marion Engineering College Kazhakootam, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala from 2014 to 2018.

livelihood
When she was in college, she participated in the inter-college fashion show and won the title of best model. Talking about this during an interview, he said,
Then this happened. Perhaps it was her height that led her seniors to choose her as the show-stopper for an inter-collegiate fashion show held in the college. She was voted ‘Best Model’. There was no special prize or gift voucher but I felt happy.”
Later, her mother saw the advertisement of Grihalakshmi magazine’s Face of Kerala contest and asked her to participate in the contest. She participated in the competition but did not make the final line-up. While talking about the pageant during an interview, she said,
I enrolled for this competition and participated in the audition, but could not make it to the final line-up. This competition made me realize how unprepared I was. When every other girl came with a makeup kit, I had just an eye-liner. I didn’t even know how to give a good ‘introduction’. I wanted to improve and prove myself.
She then participated in the Miss Malabar contest and was declared first runner-up in the competition. In 2018, she participated in the Lulu Beauty Fest and was again the first runner-up.

In the same year, he got a job as an IT engineer in Infosys, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. While she was working at Infosys, she participated in the Miss Kerala pageant in 2019 and won the competition. During an interview, she shared how difficult it was for her to win the Miss Kerala contest in 2019. They said,
I had joined Infosys when I applied for the Miss Kerala contest, so it was difficult to do all this as I had to apply for leave at each stage of the contest. I didn’t tell my team that I was participating in the competition because I didn’t know how far I would go in the competition. The auditions were tough but I wanted to participate this time and win the title. The desire to win is what motivates me to move forward.”

In 2021, she represented Kerala at the Miss South India pageant and won the title.

Death
On 1 November 2021, Ansi was traveling with Miss Kerala 2019 runner-up Anjana and two other friends named Abdul Rahman and Muhammad Asif. At around 1:30 am, his Ford Figo car collided with a tree on the national highway between Vyttila and Palarivattom near the Holiday Inn Hotel in Kerala. Ansi and Anjana died on the spot and Abdul Rahman and Muhammad Asif were taken to Ernakulam Medical Center in Kerala.

According to the CCTV cameras installed at the shops in the complex, the car was going at a high speed and suddenly lost control after seeing the scooter in front.
Hearing the news of his demise, his mother tried to commit suicide by drinking poison. His neighbors informed the local police and took him to the nearest hospital.

- Ansi was a bright student when she was in school and college. She was among the toppers of her school and college.
- In an interview, while talking about the status of adult girls in Indian society, she said,
I am the only girl in our family who is not married yet and girls younger than me have become mothers. It seems as if marriage and raising children are the only purposeful tasks in life. I am against this mentality and wonder why none of them raised their voice against it. The reason I decided to participate in the pageant is to influence other girls and help them believe in themselves.
