Anshuman Pushkar is an Indian actor and theater artist. He gained immense popularity with the role of ‘Rocky’ in the Hindi web series ‘Jamtara – Sabka Number Aayega’ (2020).

He did his schooling from SBHS School More (Mokama), Patna, Bihar. After this he took admission in Commerce College, Patna, Bihar. Later, he did MBA from Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Management and Technology, Mumbai. After completing his MBA, he took acting training at Ekjut Theater Group, Mumbai. She attended various acting workshops of Indian theater artist Nadira Babbar, who is also the founder of Ekjute Theater Group.

After this he gave several auditions for various acting projects but failed to get good work. In 2017, she auditioned for the Hindi web series ‘Jamtara – Sabka Number Aayega’ (2020), but it took almost three years for it to be released and eventually, she was selected for a role in the series. He talked about this in an interview. He said,
I auditioned for Jamtara: Sabka Number Aayega but it took three years for it to be released. In 2014-15 I even thought of quitting the job and started a part-time business which was unsuccessful. Thankfully, I went through that phase because my heart and soul was into acting and I couldn’t even think of doing anything else. Those years were tough, really, really tough. But I got full support from my brother, sister and friends. Finally, the release of Jamtara (2020) turned the tables. Meanwhile, actors like Amit Sial, whom I consider my guru, encouraged me.”
He played a cameo role in the Hindi TV series ‘Chandrashekhar’ in 2018. He starred in the TV mini-series ‘Kapo’ (2019) in which he played the role of Sho. Some of her popular Hindi web series are ‘Jamtara: Sabka Number Aayega Season 1’ (2020), ‘Kathmandu Connection’ (2021), ‘Bhasad’ (2021), ‘Jamtara – Sabka Number Aayega Season 2’ (2021), and ‘ ‘Eclipse’ (2021).

This time, after a tragic incident in the family, I had to go to my hometown Mor Mokama (near Patna). So, I am with them and hope to go back once things get better and shooting starts.”
