Anjana Shajan was born in 1995 (age 26 years; as in 2021) in Hyderabad. He received his schooling from Atomic Energy Central School 2- AECS2 Hyderabad. After this he completed his graduation from Sri Chaitanya Junior College ECIL Hyderabad. Later, he received his medical education from KMCT Ayurved Medical College and post education from Kerala Health and Sciences University.

Death
Anjana Shajan died in a road accident in Kochi on 1 November 2021 along with Miss Kerala 2019 ‘Ansi Kabir’. On 1 November 2021 at 1 am, Anjana Shajan, Miss Kerala 2019, along with Ansi Kabir, died in a road accident on the National Highway between Vettila and Palarivattom near Holiday Inn Hotel in Kerala. They were close friends and were traveling together after finishing their modeling photoshoot. While trying to save a two-wheeler, his speeding car collided with a tree. The police statement on his accident was,
The car was completely damaged due to the collision and two winners of the beauty pageant died on the spot. Both women died immediately after the accident. Both women died immediately after the accident. The condition of one person among the two co-passengers is critical. Both are currently undergoing treatment at Ernakulam Medical Centre.

- In her free time, Anjana used to sketch, travel to different places and go shopping.
- In a conversation with a media house, Anjana Shajan talked about her inspiration to become a model. He told that apart from his mother, Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and former Miss World Manushi Chhillar were his inspirations. He said,
My mother is my first inspiration. I am also inspired by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Manushi Chhillar.

I will continue my profession as a doctor. I would also like to contribute to the society by joining an NGO. I feel like now that I have a title, I can reach more people. So I would like to help the society in every possible way. As far as my passion for modeling is concerned, if there are good opportunities for acting and modeling, I would like to take it.
