Anil played 2 matches in the tournament and his average strike rate was 50%. In 2022, Anil was selected by Lucknow-based Kabaddi team ‘UP Yoddha’ for Season 9 of the Pro Kabaddi League. He was bought for Rs. 8.78 lakh as a raider under the New Young Players (NYP) category.
