Angus Cloud’s mother talks about the moment she discovered her son’s lifeless body in his childhood bedroom.
For those who don’t know, the Euphoria The actor passed away in July 2023 at the age of 25 and was determined to have died from an accidental overdose of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, and more. He suffered acute intoxication from the drug combination, which also included benzodiazepines, according to the Alameda County coroner.
Lisa, Angus’s mother, just gave an interview about the final moments of his life.

Lisa said People who discovered Angus’s body slumped over his desk on the morning of July 31, although he did not initially think anything was wrong as he often fell asleep at his desk while creating art. He realized something was wrong after approaching his body to say good morning.
“I started shaking him and screaming. I pushed him hard and he fell to the ground. I tried to resuscitate him, mouth to mouth, and I was compressing him,” Lisa said between sobs. “I was screaming for my neighbor because I didn’t want to leave him and call 911, and I continued like that until they took him away. I miss him a lot. “He was the love of my life.”
Lisa also commented on Angus’ cause of death.
“They were predominantly central nervous system depressants. He started slowing down his heart and breathing,” she said. “She got tired from the lack of oxygen. Everything slowed down and finally his heart stopped and he fell asleep. But he didn’t commit suicide… he came out with the total power of him, the total beauty of him, the total influence of him, and the reaction that everyone has had is very moving to me. You know, he’s not just an actor who overdosed. He was a beautiful soul and that is why people miss him so much.”
Lisa recently reflected on her last day with her son.
