Amrita Rai is an Indian television journalist. She is the wife of Digvijay Singh, former Congress CM of Madhya Pradesh. He is a senior anchor in Rajya Sabha TV.

Amrita Rai was born in 1972 (age 47 years; as in 2019) in Uttar Pradesh. He started his career as a journalist with BAG Films. Thereafter, she joined Star News and worked there as one of the lead anchors. Thereafter, she joined CNEB and worked under the direction of veteran journalist Rahul Dev for a brief period before joining NDTV. In 2016, Rai resigned from her position at NDTV and joined Rajya Sabha TV as a senior anchor, where she is widely popular for her TV program “Sarokar”.

I would like to share with my friends that I and Digvijay Singh have got married in a solemn ceremony as per Hindu rituals. We have also got our marriage registered later.
