“Definitely a bittersweet moment,” Raghu captioned the post, which included photos from the audition. “What they didn’t show was that I was constantly begging Julia to come on the show with me, but unfortunately, the judges said no.”
“Being able to grow in this program is something so special to my heart, I want to thank [American Idol] Family for teaching me so much over the years and showing me in my most real moments.”
He also thanked Davos for his friendship and incredible memories. However, her comments section did her no favors. “Don’t expect America to support my sister,” one person wrote. “Whether it was poorly edited or not, you stole her moment and belittled her.”
Then another person wrote: “Honestly, regardless of how this was planned, it doesn’t look good. “If someone I knew barged into my audition and got a yes in MY audition, I would feel some kind of way.”
