The second live episode of the week for american idol it just went on the air and two more contestants were eliminated.
During the performance episode on Monday (May 1), the top 10 contestants performed. At the end of the episode, the results were revealed.
The top 8 will be featured on the Sunday, May 7 episode, when the show will transition to Sunday episodes only for the rest of the season.
Two of the judges will not be there for the live episode on May 7 and will need to be replaced.
