Amanda Bynes’ new company is already closing its doors. The former child actress steps away from her podcast Amanda Bynes and Paul Sieminski: the podcast after just one episode.
According to Bynes, it has nothing to do with the overall reception of the podcast. On social media, Ella Bynes explained that she, overall, is pleased with how people received her podcast. However, the actress doesn’t feel like she can take the podcast to the heights she wants.
Bynes started the podcast with Paul Sieminski. For the first episode, the two interviewed tattoo artist Dahlia Moth, who works in Los Angeles. The first episode debuted on December 9.
“Although the podcast is doing very well and the response has been excellent. “I’m going to take a break for now,” Bynes said in a video (via People). In particular, Bynes cited the lack of stars among his guests. He wants to pursue high-profile celebrities for his show. However, she has not been able to do that.
“We can’t get the kind of guests that I would like on the show, like Jack Harlow, Drake or Post Malone,” he said. Bynes decided to pause the podcast.

However, according to the podcast’s description, the focus of the show was going to be “the hosts’ loves: fashion, artists, actors, actresses, music and everything in between.”
She said: “So maybe one day, if we can get those kind of guests on the show, we will resume the podcast. But for now, I’m taking a break.”
Bynes announced plans for the podcast on Instagram in November. He hoped to partner with Sieminski. However, it seems Bynes’ plans for the podcast have changed.
She said: “I think having his beautiful mind be a part of this podcast is going to take it to another level, because he’s going to ask great questions and I think he’s going to carry most of the weight in terms of just talking points.”
However, Bynes is grateful for those who tuned in to the project, which is short-lived for now. She said: “Thank you to everyone who watched, I really hope you enjoyed it. And that’s all, for now!”
