Career/Water Harvesting Work
She became emotional after watching footage of the Rajasthan drought (in the late 1990s) on TV and decided to help the people suffering there. To solve the problem of water scarcity he established ‘Aakar Charitable Trust’. She built her first check dam in Mandawar village in Rajasthan, which is also her husband’s native place.

He built about 200 drinking water ponds between 2000 and 2005. By the end of 2017, nearly 200 check dams were built in more than 115 villages in Rajasthan. The Trust provides 60-70% of the resources and contributes 30-40%. By the villagers.
